Rashmi works at the intersection of privacy, diversity and inclusion, data equity, emerging technologies and applied ethics. She has a background in human rights law and advocacy having worked with NGOs including Human Rights Watch where she was a Leonard H. Sandler Fellow. Her human rights work has focused on the protection of vulnerable groups in the areas of health and human rights, disability rights, immigrant rights and children’s rights. Rashmi also has a prior background in technology investment banking and strategy consulting in the public and private sectors. She holds a J.D. from Columbia University, an M.Phil from Cambridge University and a B.Com (Economics) from the University of NSW.
